Aquaculture Equipment Supply
We supply a range of equipment and allied products used for fish farming. All of these products have been trialled and used on our own farms, and we have confidence that they are appropriate for the task, cost effective and durable.
Contact us to obtain more information on any of these items.
Egg incubator
Tilapia eggs need to be kept in motion during incubation, and an egg incubator provides the ideal incubation environment for them. The eggs of many other species also do well in this environment.
Our incubators have a swirl motion so that the water inside the incubator is in constant motion without the eggs washing out the top of the incubator. The incubators are made of heavy duty acrylic piping and sell for R934 each inclusive of Vat and ex-George, Western Cape.
contact us for more information or to order your incubators.
Size sorter set
We offer a set of plastic size sorters of the following gap sizes: 2.4, 3.9, 5.6, 9.35, 13.9 & 19.3mm. These are ideally suited for sorting fry and fingerlings in the hatchery and early growout stages.
A set of 6 size sorters sells for R5 474 including Vat (in South Africa) and ex-works George, Western Cape.

Grommets
Grommets are the simplest method to connect a narrow diameter pipe into a wide diameter pipe, or to connect a pipe into a tank. Simply drill the appropriate diameter hole, insert the grommet, slide the pipe through the grommet and you have a water tight connection. Should you later wish to change the connection simply remove the pipe from the grommet, take the grommet out of the hole, drill a new hole, insert the grommet and fit the pipe. So simple!
We offer the following sized grommets:
50mm @ R115 each
75mm @ R135 each
110mm @ R155 each
The prices above include Vat and are ex-works George, Western Cape. Contact us to order your grommets.
Water pump
We offer a range of water pumps that are energy efficient and offer high flow volumes, whilst being durable. We have used this range for the past 15 years and are very happy with their performance. The flagship model is the SH55, which uses only 0.56kW to pump a maximum of 55 000 litres per hour. Optimal efficiency is at a head of less than 2.0m but it can lift up to 5m.
The SH55 sells for R5 532 each inclusive of Vat (in South Africa) and ex-works George, Western Cape.
